Same Place Different Times represent the beginnings of a visual dialogue that explores spatial dimensions and the representation of time and memory. The work is based on Henri Bergson's diagrams of memory and perception found in Gille Deleuze's book titiled Cinema 2 - The Time Image. A series of video recordings were made at the same place at the same time of day for one month. A total of 15-30 separate video segments make up the continually changing installation environment. The resulting work functions metaphorically to index points in a current present and layers of a historical past.
